Services
Motivated By Doing Good provides three core services to the community with the intention to build community, sharpen skillsets, and build relationships.
Matrix Math Tutoring: Provides private math tutoring, homework assistance, and test prep to students in grades 1-12.
Conversation Through Games: Young people will volunteer to connect with a senior currently residing in a supervised assisted living facility. The pairs will play games and share intergenerational life stories.
Board Games Events: Motivated by Good will host board games events throughout the Greater Boston and surrounding area for kids and adults.
Matrix Math Tutoring
Private math tutoring services costs at least $25 an hour and in some cases, over $100 an hour. However, we provide quality math tutoring for $18 per hour as a means to reduce the financial barrier.

Tutoring sessions are friendly and non-intimidating.
Matrix Math Tutoring can tutor students ranging from grades 1-12.
Conversations Through Games
Once a month, a group of volunteers will travel to a senior center in the Greater Boston area to spend time with senior citizens for up to two hours. The relationship between the elderly and the youth will develop organically through conversation and a game e.g. card games, board games, chess, checkers or maybe both could learn a new game together.
We hope to entertain senior citizens and provide all participants with an outlet and safe space to share their stories and wisdom.
